Polling Day holiday, we didn't have school like the others. Did Chinese PT (plan this one day trip for a penpal staying overseas) with Hui Qi, Ke Xin and Xin En from for almost 10 hours from 7.30AM. We met at the McDonald's at Compass Point and had breakfast while doing some preparation work. Saw quite a lot of students, it's obvious that they were skipping school, they were oh, so proudly their uniforms. Yucccccck, act cool. We went to Payar Lebar Methodist Church, Singapore Crocodile Farm, Little India, Plaza Singapura and Chinatown. We stayed at each place and finished the write-up 'cause we need atmosphere to think.
We reached the Singapore Crocodile Farm and we couldn't go in at first because only adults are allowed and students must be accompanied by teachers. We had to show the person-in-charge our Chinese PT instruction sheet before we could go in. And she said that in the future we need a letter from our teacher. I guess they were afraid that the children and teens who go to school cannot read.
The feeding time was 11 so we had to wait. We just loitered around and tried to think of descriptions for the crocodile using Ni Ren. Then this uncle came at past 11 with two buckets of food for the crocodiles and we realised that they were actually buckets full of chicken heads, black and white. Yeah, the heads only, I thought they'd give the whole chicken. The uncle used strings to tie the chicken heads together like a ball, it was totally disgusting. He wasn't wearing gloves. Not that the crocodiles will have food poisioning or anything but oh my gawd his hands will stink forever and ever man. Grooooosss. Each crocodile only ate one ball of chicken heads. Are chicken heads damn nutritious or something.
We ate at Yum Cha for lunch at Chinatown, when we walked in the restaurant, somehow I felt that a lot of people were looking at us. Whatever, we probably didn't look rich or something. Hahaha, we ordered quite a lot. I ate six mini egg tarts and a plate of wanton noodles. They spread out the noodles on the plate like there's a lot but when you start eating you find out that it's just a thin layer of noodles. Ke Xin, Xin En and I were so tempted to eat Black Pepper Craaaaaaabs, but we didn't :( After that we wanted to look for a place and sit down to do our write-up but we couldn't find a fast food restaurant anywhere near so we decided to sit in the MRT and do. So we kept going to and fro the North-East line for four or five times. We sort of finished our script, yeah. Hui Qi was the first to alight, then Ke Xin, Xin En and I alighted but Ke Xin took a different line from us. Xin En and I were going to City Hall 'cause our parents are fetching us from around there. When Xin En and I wanted to get out of the MRT, the MRT machine showed that we 'Overstayed' and asked us to go to the service counter. Uh, we had to pay two bucks for staying in the MRT for, more than three hours. Hahaha, then my mother, grandmother and Christel came in Aunt Lillian's car to fetch me. Xin En was stranded, she didn't know where her mother was gonna fetch her from and her mother didn't know where she was. Hahaha, fortunately she was safe and sound.
They went to Bugis for dinner and Christel went for tuition. So the adults shopped at OG for close to two hours. Total waste of time I was walking around with four adults, so uninteresting. Then we fetched Christel from her tuition centre and took a MRT to catch the fireworks. It was so much nicer than the one during NDP. And together with the blasting music, the fireworks were damn nice. Just that we were blocked by trees.
We took the MRT back to Bugis after the fireworks ended and Aunt Lillian fetched us home. Was damn tired.

Had SL with Ann and Waiian. Went home and slept all the way.
Sunday, August 13, 2006
Had Chinese PT meeting again, at Hui Qi's house.
Then after that I went to watch 'The Lake House' with my mother. It's quite heart-warming but somehow the ending was just to make the audience happy.

Chinese PT went pretty wrong, and there's an indvidual part to it. No hope for Chinese anymore. Then was walking down for recess with Elyssa and Jia Wen and then KBY was beside us so she asked us to bring our Geography FA answers next lesson. She didn't even give us, so she asked us to look for her at the staffroom anytime for the rest of the day for the answers 'cause she had no more lessons. Yeah, cannot see we having recess ah, irritating. She should just walk up to our classroom and exercise a little if not she will forever be a bulging-in-the-middle population pyramid. So Elyssa, Jia Wen and I went to the staffroom to look for her after we ate. We requested for our Geography PTs as well, like Elyssa said, 'If they want us to hand in our PTs on time, then they should also return us on time'. Scored well for Geography PT, Elyssa, Yi-Lin, Ying Xuan <3!

Mathematics SA was average. Though I didn't know how to do a question which was very similar to the one in the Revision Exercise, whatever.
Thursday, August 17, 2006
There was Geography SA, KBY came in late. Then after school my father told me that he could only fetch me at four, but Weihui was already at Parkway. Well, she is always dismissed at one or something and has to wait for me alone. We may be changing tuition to Monday so that she doesn't have to wait for me and waste her time, and also, usually Mathematics SAs are on Wednesdays and Thursdays, I don't get to do assisted Mathematics revision with Fong before that.
Anyhow, Elyssa's mother sold me to Parkway, on her aeroplane! 'Cause she lives near that area, yeah so thanks! :D Um, met Weihui and we walked around. She didn't have a single cent while I only had ten bucks! So we went to Giant and walked the whole place to try the sample food. Hahaha, damn cheapskate. Some promoters didn't even want to let us try, they just acted as if we were invisible. But of course, thick-skinned us forced them to let us eat. We went around and kept telling the promoters that our mothers were coming at night and they'd buy what we liked. Whatever, we went to Burger King and ate a little. We had a ten-dollar budget man. Walked to tuition. Yeah, tuition was fine. Went home after that. Got back English PT marks, scored well. Elyssa, Syahidah, Ying Xuan <3!>

Had Computer Studies today, iStopMotion is very cool. 12 frames per second. Our group's iStopMotion project script has nine scenes and is about 345 seconds, so that's 4140 frames. Wan Ting read out the whole script very expressively and recorded the time taken for each scene. She even added sound effects, though they are kind of limited.
Barbie trips and falls.
Wan Ting goes 'Boom'.
A child runs and falls down.
Wan Ting goes 'Boom'.
Barbie gets dizzy and faints.
Wan Ting still goes 'Boom'.
Hahaha. Then there was recess then Dance. Anyway it was Ting Wen's birthday and the class sang Ou Xiang a birthday song from the second floor as she walked up the stairs to the music room. In the end, we didn't have Music, so it was three hours of dancing. We didn't even hear the bell for Assembly and were all late for the Congress thing. I think that Congress would be better if it was conducted without the presence of the teachers. They're probably gonna be biased against you in the future and fail you for all your PTs and SAs if you said anything concerning them.
After school I went to have lunch with my mother and went to her office to sleep. Slept for about an hour then my father came to fetch us and he dropped me at St. Andrew's Junior College 'cause I had to support this National School's Chinese Song-writing Competition. Met Elyssa on bridge and we went in together, Hui Qi and Penelope were already there. We sat behind them. The whole thing was less than two hours, easy support school activity point. This guy from JC sang really really low and his song sucked. It was such torture listening to him, glad to know that I'm still alive. Lee Wei Song was there to be one of the judges. Not that I like him or anything, but I could've brought my camera to take some famous faces. I left it in my bag in the car 'cause I thought there wouldn't be anything nice to take.
Tsk.
P.S. I think my memory rocks.
